Pull Behind Arena Drag for ATV & UTV
Improve Safety & Reduce Injuries
80% of all soundness problems directly result from poor quality arena footing. Simply grooming the top surface of an arena does not address the dangers under the surface that other arena drags leave behind. Inconsistent compaction at the arena base and variances in the footing depth are significant contributors to injuries resulting in lameness. The Arena Rascal Pro is the only ATV pull behind arena drag designed to address these real footing issues and properly prepare your arena to be a safe environment for your horses!
Elevate Training & Performance
Horses are reactionary and can negatively react to perceived dangers. When a horse is unsure of its footfall on the riding surface, the natural reaction is to tense up and not listen to the cues given from the rider’s seat, legs, or hands. When horses disobey the rider’s cues, the blame is often put on the horse. In reality, it could be due to arena footing that has not been appropriately prepared. The Arena Rascal Pro pull behind arena drag for ATV eliminates this problem by properly preparing the entire footing profile on every pass.
Improve Longevity & Extend Career
Your investment in your horse is not just about time and money; it’s also about your relationship! You don’t have the luxury of buying new horses every few years. When your horses are lame or unable to compete at the next level, your choices become limited to replacement or retirement. The wisest investment you can make in their longevity is the arena footing where you ride and train. The Arena Rascal Pro ATV horse arena drag increasing your horses’ longevity for many years of love and enjoyment!

Arena Rascal Pro 4.5 / 980cc 4×4 atv. Just received machine yesterday. Assembly was simple and straight forward. Quality of build looks excellent. Took 2 hrs. each to resurrect two Class I sand full size dressage arenas. We had just been using a chain tine drag for years. Compaction got the better of us. I am very pleased that it took only 2 hrs each to break up that “concrete” under footing. Now it is nice and soft. I’m g0iong to guess that it may take 30-45 minutes to do a “routine” maintenance, if the ring is empty of jumps. Since most all parts are put together with removable pins, there is a certain amount of benign rattle. You do need a 4×4 ATV if you are going to do any heavy work (driveway maintenance or resurrecting a compacted arena. Routine regular maintenance probably does not need 4×4. 5 MPH seems to be best speed of pull. I didn’t try the flat blade My job was initially too tough. I also used quite a shallow angle of attack for the ripping teeth. This thing is doing the job we needed it to do.

Perfect. I spent 2 days with a backhoe loosening 1/2 of my indoor and degrading. I purchased an Arena Rascal Pro and did the other 1/2 in less than an hour and, it did a better job. I love this tool. Note: you have to have a powerful enough to macho e. Be sure to listen to the sales teams advice.

The Bees Knees. Love this implement. It works great on our regulation size dressage court. And even in our round pen. You get the footing you want without exception. The engineering and the build is just perfect.

2 weeks later: In preparation for adding MagCl I worked the footing again. This time I did use the profile blade. It was again a bit of a difficult pull the first time around. I think I was cutting off the ridges left by my first resuscitation working with the ripping teeth.Second time around it pulled just fine. The footing was very soft and smooth. I do think I can and will use the profile blade for subsequent workings and reserve the ripping teeth for repair if ever the need (or perhaps my drive). I am very pleased with this purchase. Please note the wheels are really only for transport. The rake on the back is truly the depth gauge.

I usually never leave reviews for products but it took me about 6 months to make up my mind on which arena drag to buy that I figured I would try to help others make a quicker decision. First I researched 7 different arena drags from different companies I will not name them to be fair but if you start looking for a drag you will come across them in your search. 4 of the brands were much cheaper then the TR3E 1 about the same price and 1 more expensive. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money but also didn’t want to spend money on something that just didn’t work. So for my review of the TR3E It is a excellent piece of equipment. I use it to do so much stuff around the farm and the house. It works better then I thought. I do think it has one down side though and that would be it takes some time to set it up properly and get use to how to use it. Its not a set it up one time and use it for everything kind of tool. For instance if you have it set up to use in sand or dirt arena and try to go and use it to prepare a lawn, if there is any gra

This is the BEST!!! And made in the USA! First off- its made in the USA, which is very important to me. We just bought a place with dense clay soils and had deep dried tire ruts that it thought would be permanent features of the area in front of my barn and where that I had hoped to put in an arena. So bad you couldn’t walk across the area without tripping at some point. Additionally, the gravel driveway and road to the house were washboarded to the point that 5 mph was almost more than you could do. I looked around at a number of similar products and was unhappy with all the negative reviews… but in every place I looked, someone always said ” Don’t waste your money on a DR or whatever- spend the money and get ABI” So, fast forward to now- I bought the ABI Arena Rake. The customer service and sales team are absolutely the best! Answered all my questions, gave good advice, checked to make sure I’d be able to use it for what I wanted (happily my Grizzly is plenty strong enough to handle the work). The shipping was quick, the assembly was quite easy, everything

Best Investment! We purchased the 5.5′ Arena Rascal Pro in June of 2016. We had just purchased a new property and needed a space to ride and only had a quad to pull. After working with sales rep Casey, we decided the 5.5′ was the perfect fit. It allowed us to dig up a spot until the arena got put in. It is the perfect drag for the now established arena with new footing and since it has the capability to turn into a 3-point drag we not it will continue to serve its purpose for us as our farm grows and we buy a tractor. No job has been too big or too small for this drag! We used it to rip up and level the area around our house to plant new grass seed, ripped up a round pen area, and smoothed out the gravel in the driveway all behind just our quad. This is the most versatile piece of equipment and it does an amazing job! This drag will dig through any ground even just behind a quad! It’s balanced and strong!

Holds up! This Rascal has performed for 10 years! Only issue is top link is locked in place because, never used for anything but dressage arena maintenance, never had to adjust the link, but a new one is not expensive or difficult to replace. Have had no maintenance issues at all! Beautiful ridges left and even my trainer commented on the arena footing. My arena is M-10 filings, so a little dusty in dry times, but Rascal can still leave a pretty pattern. just not so much dimension to it without adequate moisture.

Absolutely a Must Have!!! This is the most useful piece of equipment! We use it for our large round pen(150 ft) and it does the work of a much larger machine! We have the 7_ ft. model and use it behind a utv. Can easily maintain 3_” of dirt for our cutters and cowhorses. With the profile blade we have far less sore horses then with drags that leave uneven grooved or ridged subsurfaces. Have used it to break up packed sand arenas and maintain the driveway. Easy enough for anyone to use. Ours is used very regularly and after two years shows no wear. MONEY WELL SPENT!!

Best money I ever spent. Great product

Rake rookie with very little experience and no familiarity with the Rascal Pro, I cut it off of the pallet, turned a few bolts, and pulled all of the pot holes out of my 200 yard long gravel driveway. Pure awesomeness.

The best you can get for the investment ! We have our horses borded at an English barn just outside of Atlanta GA. We have an OTT Thouroghbred that absolutely loves the English discipline. He has got EPM from grazing in the pasture, and this has created a big problem for him durrin training, he has become very tender footed and has started to loose his muscle masses in the hind end. After watching several videos and hearing several testimonials of how well the arena rascal pro worked for working the footing in the arena and how much easier it was for the horses while working we bought one. I assembled it when it arrived and started playing with the different functions that it had, I pulled it through the arena with my UTV and was ABSOLUTELY FLOORED at how many HUGE rocks it pulled up just the first pass around ! As I continued to RIP and work the dirt it drug up SEVERAL more rocks varying in size from golf ball to softball sized rocks! The first time I used it was the most labor intensive do to the rocks that were having to be removed from the rake, but after the rocks were all up

Thought I’d shoot you a note and let you know how very happy I am with my little Rascal! I’ve used it enough times now to know that it’s going to do everything I wanted and then some. I am SO glad I got the electronics for it! Highly recommend that. I’ve taken it through my lava rock infested, concrete hard (anyway it seems so) pasture and it’s even loosening up the rocks so that I can then go around and pick them up. Trying to get at least a rock free track around the property. I’m so impressed with the heavy-duty quality of the unit. Super happy it’s made in the USA! PLEASE don’t have them built anywhere else! I’m not a professional horseperson by any stretch of the imagination. I’ve simply got a small acreage and manage it the best I can. I do try to buy quality products to help me out and I think this is going to be one of the best purchases ever. Even my husband is impressed and that is not an easy thing to do! Tell the workers who make these they are doing a great job and from me – a heartfelt thank you for them doing such a great job. It’s so good to see a great made in the USA product. Hopefully we’ll see more of that in the future 🙂

Rascal pro arrived this morning. Easy to set up. Really liked the instructional videos you sent. Just finished using it for the first time. Scarifiers really broke up the compacted corners. Worked well beyond what I expected. Thank you, Arena Rascal Pro.

I don’t leave reviews on anything, but I am definitely going to for this piece of equipment. We bought a property that used to have an arena years ago, the ground was packed and covered in Koshia and thistles. I bought this to go behind our ford jubilee. We mowed the weeds and hooked up and started tearing the arena up. All I can say is wow this replaces a disk, harrow, and any other drag you can own. It broke through any thing with ease. I drug the arena in 3rd gear as deep as she would go never bounced just worked the ground perfectly. As far as customer service goes outstanding. If your hooking onto a small tractor buy the 3 point it’s worth the extra money. Our roping arena is perfectly level and the perfect depth couldn’t be happier.

I worked with Casey from the beginning and he was wonderful!! The drag was for a nonprofit so it was a long process as it was being purchased with a grant. Casey was so patient and stayed in contact for over 4 months. The entire process was easy and stress free! The arena rascal pro is amazing and easy to use. I highly recommend!!
